Grace Hines - Co Maid of Honor
Grace and Elizabeth met through Facebook while both were eagerly searching for a roommate for their freshman year at Michigan State. Lucky to have found each other, they ended up living together all four years and became avid Izzone members along the way. They’ve shared countless laughs over cheesy rom-coms, late nights on the kitchen floor, and plenty of charcuterie and wine. Grace loves spending time in northern Michigan and with her family. Billy Turk - Groomsmen
Billy Turk has known Paul since playing on the Sharks with him in first grade. Billy loves being the life of every party and everyone finds themselves feeling like his best friend. He spends his time being active, hanging out with friends, and making sure Paul is alive because he never texts anyone back. Grace Steele - Bridesmaid
Grace and Elizabeth met during their freshman year at Michigan State in an Honors College class and later lived together during their junior and senior years. They quickly bonded over a shared passion for home-cooked, healthy meals, a mutual shopping addiction, and a love for creating a cozy, homey vibe in their college house. Grace is known for her incredible Facebook Marketplace finds and has a true passion for the outdoors, if anyone could live off the grid, it would be her. Joey Nadon - Groomsmen
Joey and Paul go way back to their theatre days. At first, Joey might have thought Paul would be hard to get along with but that sparked one of the best friendships you’ll ever see. Now, Joey and Paul love hanging out and laughing together, catching up on life and playing games. Joey is a talented musician who spends his time singing and playing piano at open mic nights. Paige Smith - Bridesmaid
Paige was the final, and perfect, addition to the 124 Kedzie house. Another Facebook roommate find, she lived with Elizabeth during senior year at Michigan State. Paige and Elizabeth spent many nights puzzling, finding the perfect movie, or trying out a new craft together. Paige and her now-husband, Cody, even made a trip to Colorado to hike the mountains and meet puppy Moose. These days, Paige stays active by playing in a soccer league, hosting ultimate clothing swaps, and growing vegetables and flowers in her garden. Derek Marckel - Groomsmen
Catching a theme with Paul’s groomsmen? Meet Derek, he competes with the best of them at being the funniest and nicest person alive. Originally from the Toledo area, Derek now lives in Colorado. He’s the one who convinced Paul to give Colorado a shot. Now that Paul is back in Michigan, Derek makes the trip every Christmas to check in on his nephew Moose and, I guess, Paul too. Derek loves grabbing beers with friends and going to concerts with Paul. They also share a mutual love for Detroit sports and even discovered one of the best Lions bars in Denver together. If you’re a hugger, ask Derek for one at the wedding, you won’t regret it.
Daria Pyshnenko - Bridesmaid
Daria and Elizabeth met in Colorado when Daria’s now-fiancé, Jacob, joined the Colorado staff with Paul. Elizabeth and Daria spent many weekends keeping each other company while their significant others dedicated their time to football. With a mutual love of reading, they started a book club for other girlfriends also impacted by football. During away games, they filled their time with craft nights and afternoons by the pool. Daria and Jacob recently moved back to Michigan with their dog, Ollie. YAY!! If you see Daria, ask her how many places she’s lived in over the past few years!
Austin Flynn - Groomsmen
Austin and Paul met at the prestigious (now closed) Compass College of the Cinematic Arts and became fast friends through their love of sports and Grand Rapids. Their friendship is built on competition and laughing at each other’s jokes. Austin spends his time working out or keeping the One Kick Wonders chasing championships. Taylor Porter - Bridesmaid
Taylor is Elizabeth’s golf partner in crime. Introduced by Taylor’s now-fiancé, Caleb, the two quickly became fast friends. You can find them on the course most Thursdays in the summer, practicing hard and hoping to get good enough to finally beat the boys in a scramble. When she’s not golfing, Taylor loves dressing up in colorful wigs, playing Pass the Pigs at a local bar, and spending lots of quality time with her family. Blaze Watson - Groomsmen
Yes, Blaze is his actual name. Blaze and Paul started as the "Twinterns" at Michigan State. Ask Paul what he thinks of Blaze and he will describe him as the friend that can do it all. You can find Blaze fixing everything in his South Carolina home. Blaze puts the beautiful in bald according to Paul and Paul spends his time missing Blaze and asking him to do random things. Don’t be intimidated by the scold, Blaze is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet.
Haley Orchard - Bridesmaid
Haley started as one of Elizabeth’s coworkers at The Derm Institute of West Michigan and quickly became one of her best friends. Elizabeth and Haley connected over their similar stories, both left Michigan for the men who would later become their husband and fiancé, both adopted dogs who are now besties, and both eventually moved back to Michigan to navigate the next steps in their careers and lives. These days, Haley loves trying new restaurants with her husband, hunting for the best thrift finds, and learning the art of scrapbooking. Dan Golden - Groomsmen
Dan is the only quiet one. You would be surprised because Paul is so extroverted and Dan is so calm that they seem to complement each other perfectly. Dan is also a do-it-all kind of guy. He could build a house with his bare hands or design it digitally. Dan is a man of many talents. Jacob Montaque - Groomsmen
Paul's friendship with Jacob stems from them meeting in Colorado and discovering their shared love of being Michiganders. Paul and Jacob's friendship has one major flaw: Jacob is a graduate from the School Down the Road. This flaw has turned into a funny, friendly rivalry.
